2 is obviously the best. 5 is great too, it tries to emulate 2 with some other things. 1 is good but too light and too short 3 is good even if it feels different from others but it has big gameplay and ost flaws. 4 is just meh. The boat is too slow, the story goes nowhere. Hopefully Suikoden Tactics helps him a lot.

Should I go back to orge battle. I only played orge battle 64 and it was a masterpiece.

One of my favorite in the series but I wouldn’t call it the best. There was too much lacking. Most things they did, they did well but it feels too incomplete.

I haven’t completed the video as I am just nearly about to finished the game. So what I wish for the sequel is to have a more lengthy story line. This one had a great story but I think it was quite short. I think more events should have happened before Nowa was chosen as commander. I was still getting familiar with the characters at that level. Speaking for myself, I was not that attached to Nowa’s character yet until later stages.

BoF3 > BoF4 and it’s not even close.

Legendary game! The post game super dungeons are a hardcore experience we don't get much of in modern RPGs. Thinking of getting it on PSN now that it's available.

One of my friends got it for his birthday and gave it to me, from there it became a prank among my friendship group to wrap it and pass it around on birthdays Sometimes we’d even swap the discs of other game with it to troll each other e.g you open up Time Splitter and find this facing you I have no clue how this game even got through play testing, it competent sucked

I....actually agree with like 95% of an RPG list from a UA-camr?? Only one I'd change up is probably putting Octopath 1 as tops for it's year, and an honourable mention for Triangle Strategy, which was remarkably good and severely underrated.

God...Suikoden 4 was so horrible.

Not only was Stallion's color changed for the PSP release, his Utmost Attack was renamed to "Vortex Wave". I guess Capcom wanted to get rid of the references to Ultraman in the port.

Fantasian finally getting out of Apple Arcade jail, the Dragon Quest III Remake this November and I and II remakes next year, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy from the same team who did Danganronpa and Master Detective Archives (which I both really like), Romancing Saga 2 Remake, Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection, and Metroid Prime 4 for 2025 were my picks. I know some of those were non-RPG games, but I like a bunch of different genres. Nintendo had the best showcase from the past several months of showcases from everybody by far in my opinion, for stuff that I'm interested in anyways.

mine is top 2, 1, 5, 4.. unfortunately i didnt play 3 so couldnt rank it. but no matter which series i put after 2, 2 is actually leading wayyyyyy ahead.. my actual ranking shall be 2, ....................................................................................., 1, 5, 4 just no way the other series can compare with 2, its way too good, i can play it again and again and again

Very excited for Zelda. Otherwise the Mario and Luigi game and the Danganronpa tactical rpg look pretty legit.

yeah I actually had to restart the game all over again and tried to beat balio and sunder at the first encounter but even if they are defeated the story didn't change at all, you still gt separated from Rei and Teepo while waking up in the wyndia prison

I really would recommend you play Mario RPG The Thousand Year Door for Switch. Many say it’s better than the original SMRPG.

I'm really excited for the new Mario & Luigi game, and I feel the same as you in regards to the combat in Echoes of Wisdom... I'm just not sure how fun or fluid it will feel summoning objects to do Zelda's dirty work? I'll definitely pick it up regardless, but I just wish she could use a weapon that's a little more 'instant' with attacks 😅

I'm a huge fan of SaGa so i almost fainted from the reveal of Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of the Seven. Also crazy for Dragon Quest trilogy remakes, so glad it's all coming to pc bc I don't care for Nintendo.

Phantom Brave sequel was the biggest surprise

Great direct for rpg fans! Honestly, banger direct overall, new Zelda, New Mario and Luigi, and gameplay of metroid prime 4 were my big non-rpg highlights. Dragon Quest 1-3 remakes and fantasian being released outside of apple arcade were the big rpg highlights for me.

This is a great video. Lot of great picks. It's hard to pick just one. Maybe FF9. It always gets me reflecting on life and how ephemeral it is. Makes me question whether I'm doing all I should in life and stuff.

I find bof3 to be the best because it does the best job using its staple mechanic,the dragon system

Loved Xenogears, still my all time favotite. Loved xenosaga 1 and 3..... 2 was dreadful. Never played the others because im not buying "Another" system just to play them. So never played the xenoblade
